**AG COLLEGE FAIRS TO BE HELD IN CALIFORNIA AND ILLINOIS

This spring, two AG College Fairs, sponsored by the Alliance for AG
Higher Education, will bring many of the 19 endorsed AG colleges and
universities to California and Illinois

The first fair this spring will be held on March 13 at First
Assembly of God, 1440 E. Santa Clara Avenue, in Santa Ana,
California. The second fair will take place on April 10 at Calvary
Church, 9S200 State Route 59, in Naperville, Illinois.

According to Bob Cook, Alliance for AG Higher Education executive
vice president, "Students will get a first-hand account of the
academic, social and spiritual life on each campus from admissions
personnel who have lived and loved their own experiences. In
addition, the fairs will offer mini-sessions on getting financial
aid and great reasons to attend an AG college or university."

Both fairs will run from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. and are come and go.
Everyone is invited and encouraged to attend.

Cooks says the college fairs provide prospective college students
with an important opportunity to discover the quality of the diverse
AG colleges and universities. Although students and parents are
often introduced to these schools at national or district events,
the schools are not the singular focus of those events.

"In this venue," Cook explains, "high school students, parents and
youth pastors will be able to concentrate solely on the search for
the college that is right for a student's call, goals and
interests."

If these fairs are successful, Cook says the Alliance plans to
continue them in the future in various locations throughout the
country.

**VFCC PARTNERS TO REACH 4,000 STUDENTS

Youth Studies majors at Valley Forge Christian College in
Phoenixville, Pennsylvania, recently hosted a 4-day outreach to the
local community. The event was held January 25-28, and featured
special guests Reggie Dabbs, Preston Centuolo and Jason Lamer, who
partnered with Rev. Phil Baker, VFCC Youth Ministries Specialist.

The group visited six local schools and shared in nine assemblies
speaking to more than 4,000 students. The event was well received
in the community by students and teachers alike. According to one
teen, "This was the best school assembly we have ever had!"

Though the group could not share the gospel during the assemblies,
on Wednesday evening they invited interested students to attend a
"concert" in the Flower Chapel on the campus of Valley Forge
Christian College. During that service, 47 young people responded
to an invitation to meet Jesus Christ as their Savior.

The event helped to forge relationships between Youth Studies majors
at VFCC and local schools. Baker noted, "Seeing school
administrators smile all week as their students came alive at these
assemblies was tremendous. We are looking forward to long-term
relationships with the surrounding schools and community."
